First State Bank of Bloomington is making it easy to switch banks with our First State Bank of Bloomington Switch Kit. We supply you with all of the tools you need to move your bank account to First State Bank of Bloomington as easily as possible.
Just follow these steps
- Open a new account with us
Come into any FSBB facility to open your account. One of our Personal Banker’s will assist you in opening your new bank account.
- Cease using your former checking account
Leave sufficient funds in your former account to cover any outstanding checks and automatic payments.
- Change your automatic payments
Complete the Automatic Payment Authorization Form for all of your automatic payments.
- Change all of your Direct Deposits
Complete the Direct Deposit authorization Form for all of your Direct Deposits. Switch your Social Security Direct Deposit by calling (800) 772-1213 or use their website www.ssa.gov
- (Optional) Sign up for Internet Banking online access (www.fsbblm.com) or Mobile banking
iPhone and Android users can download the app from Apple App Store or Google Play to check the status of your Direct Deposits and Automatic Payments
- Close your old bank account
After ensuring all outstanding automatic payments and checks have cleared and all Direct Deposits have been switched to your First State Bank of Bloomington account.
